Huck Finn Corn Cob Pipe

$7.84

(17 customer reviews)

The non-filtered Huck Finn Corn Cob Pipe sports a short stem with a long amber bit. The barrel-shaped bowl has a light coat of soft yellow varnish. Ideal for taking a break for a 10-minute smoke!

It’s part of our Hannibal Collection pipe series, which includes the much larger Mark Twain Corn Cob Pipe and the nose-warmer style Tom Sawyer Corn Cob Pipe, each sold separately.

Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won’t in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. The chips only add to the charm and character of your corn cob pipe. Enjoy!

This is my newer cob pipe in 10 years. Smokes good, my tobacco NEVER burns or bites. There’s something bout a cob pipe. I like my cobs over my briar. I just got back in to pipes for less than a month.
I really like my Huck Finn cob, since I smoke it more and any others I have, thinkin bout gettin a couple more..
I’ve got a ole cob that the bit screws in, but still a great smoker..

I bought this as a first corncob pipe and I haven’t used anything else for 2 weeks. I can’t wait to try more.

Just received this pipe today, and fired it up with Great Dane tobacco I got with the same order. First impression? A very nice pipe. Smokes cool, comfortable to hold, light enough to hold in teeth. I like the smaller chamber for shorter smokes as I have other MM’s with larger bowls if I want a longer smoke. Overall, I am VERY impressed with this little pipe, especially for the cost! I have several MM’s and love them all! You can’t go wrong with this pipe, give it a try!

I’m guilty of puffing my pipe a little too often, sometimes getting tongue bite from my recklessness. But this pipe is extremely forgiving, like honestly I hated having to slow down to a pace that wasn’t my own natural pace for most of my other pipes but this one lets me puff freely and I freaking love it.

A fantastic pipe! It is very easy to smoke. The chamber is just suitable for good smoke, but I found it satisfying with longer session as well, if smoked slower. Will be smoked very regularly for sure.

Fantastic lil pipe. Love the shape, well made and wonderful for taking out for a on a road trip; a walk, while working or a quick break. Fits nicely in a coat or shirt pocket. Great for a shorter smoke of 10 to 15 minutes during a hectic day. Nice cool and great tasting smoke every-time with no ghosting. Great looking cob. A+++++++++++

  7. Pipeweed Dan

    Nothing fancy, yet quite exceptional

This pipe is interesting because of its unfilled surface with yellow stained lacquer. It’s an excellent pipe for shorter smokes, yet it can pull off a 30 minute burn and never gets hot like other lacquered models. It’s simple, basic and satisfying.

    Best pipe in my collection

The Huck Finn has a small, narrow tobacco chamber that s about the same width as the stem. This precludes the need for”muddling” the bowl, something I always do to larger cobs. I get an hour smoke from my Virginia flakes! At this price and quality, order 7 for every day.

  9. Cobby McPipe

    Great pipe

Light weight, cool smoking, and beautiful in its simplicity. This is yet another perfect pipe from Missouri Meerschaum. Though they say it’s a ten minute smoke, I get around thirty minutes or so out of it. Perfect for clenching without much effort. This is one of my favourite pipes- the others all being Missouri Meerschaums as well.

Barrel shaped cobs are perfect for 30 min or under smokes

As with my reviews of other barrel shaped pipes I love this pipe. For longer smokes I turn to my General, Mark Twain, Apple or 5th ave Diplomats etc… That being said this gets more smokes than the bigger ones.
The only ask I have of barrel shapes is PLEASE do some natural finishes on these. Naturals are my favorite cobs to smoke when not smoking barrels.

    Great Pipe!

I bought this pipe because it was the last cob my local brick and mortar tobacco store had. I was hesitant because it looked so small, but I had no other option. And to my surprise… this is a GREAT pipe! Yes it is small, but that means it is light and won’t make your jaw sore. It smokes cool and shows the beginning of some nice coloring after just one smoke. I was puffing away at a slightly fast pace (compared to my usual pace which may differ from yours) and it took me nearly 30 minutes to finish the bowl. I’m highly impressed and would recommend this pipe to anyone. Missouri Meerschaum has wowed me again!

    One Great Pipe!

I own a Legend (my first pipe), A Tom Sawyer, a hardwood and a Huck Finn. Had been looking for a short smoke pipe for ages and its perfect. Light to clench and cool to smoke. The slightly longer stem keeps the smoke out your face while you work and i particularly like the slightly thicker and more sturdy stem which, when too thin tend to bend and when you clench a lot. Great Pipe!

    A good classic pipe.

I like this pipe very much.
Its good to have in case you run out of filters for your filtered pipes
    and it smokes good.
IF I had to pick anything out about it that I dont like…
It would have to be the size of the chamber.
Personaly Id like a non filter pipe with the same size chamber
    as the legend pipes.
My pipe tool tamper fits it but barely so.
Ill be usin a dowel rod as a tamper in the future.

    These are Sooo Country…

How country are they? These pipes are so rural, when folks see you smoking a Huck Finn, they’ll think you mugged a scarecrow. Seriously, though, these beautifully rusticated cobs are as purdy as an $800 sandblasted briar to me. Delivers a perfect 15 min smoke. If folks poke fun at you while smoking a Huck Finn, you don’t even need to say a word. Just rest in the knowledge that you are smoking from the finest tobacco pipe on earth. Period

    Amazing Smoker

I have to admit, being new to Corn Cobb pipes, I didn’t expect much. I was very pleasantly surprised!

First off, the pipe was much smaller than I expected – my bad, I didn’t pay attention to the description, but it lowered my expectation even more. Then I smoked it and much to my unexpected pleasure, the pipe smoked cool and dry, I hate to say it but as well as a group 2 Dunhill that has been my go to small pipe.

I literally have been amazed at the quality of the smoke provided by my three MM pipes, they smoke cooler, drier, and with less bit than all but a few of my best briars.

    Great Pipe

This is one of the best pipes I own. It performs better than my expensive briar pipes! If you want a great all day pipe I’d recommend the Huck Finn.

    my favourite MM pipe

Huck Finn is simply my favorite MM pipe (i own some MM legends, Eaton-s, Pony express, Missouri prides). Its small bowl is just perfect for a 30 min.+ morning or afternoon smoke.
Missouri Meerschaum delivers something of unsurpassed quality and Huck Finn pipe is a fine example of that!
By the way; to me, it seems that the more natural, semi plastered finish of Huck Finn results in a way cooler smoke than the varnished pipes deliver, with a little more “airy” flavor. Maybe some air comes in through the open pores of the bowl?
Actually Huck Finn works form me well as a filtered pipe (!!!). I simply segregate one SWAN extra slim (rolling) cigarette filter and insert both peaces (one after the other) in the pipe stem. Whaaaaat a clear, sweet and dry smoke! Even my beloved virginias smoke like from an expensive briar pipe. And by the way- for 1,3 EUR (120 filters)….. this way of smoking gets really cheap. And they filter work as fine as White elephant, Denicotea or other 6mm filters, available in EU.

Therefore; are You looking for a smaller pipe, a step down from legend, that smokes even cooler? Buy Huck Finn!
