Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won’t in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. The chips only add to the charm and character of your corn cob pipe. Enjoy!

The Featured Dwarf Cobbit is the smallest in the Missouri Meerschaum Cobbit Collection of churchwarden style pipes. It is a mini-churchwarden, short and round, yet powerful in appearance – a tribute to those sturdy little fellas referred to in Tolkien's works. Like all pipes in the Cobbit Collection, the bowl has a dark stain added to the coating, a genuine, hardwood insert in the bottom, and a Warm Mottled Italian Acrylic Bit. The Dwarf is a pipe designed for those times when you have minutes – not hours – to enjoy a bowl of your favorite leaf, or when the task before you requires a pipe you can clench in your teeth while working with both hands. See Product Description below for more details. Note: Due to the unique nature of a corncob and Italian Acrylic stems there will be variations between the pipe received compared to the one photographed.

A dark stain has been added to the finish of the bowl, and it has a hardwood insert in the bottom imprinted with a logo unique to this pipe. The shank is also hardwood and is fitted with a nickel band and featured Slate Blue Italian Acrylic Bit. The Dagner "J Bird" Poker Cob is the perfect pipe to be taken anywhere for a leisurely smoke or to be clenched in your teeth while working with both hands. Legend has it, in 1869 a Missouri farmer with no pipe to pack, resourcefully whittled one from a corn cob. The corn cob pipe's very existence seems to support the old maxim that "necessity is the mother of invention". In a similar spirit, we may also say that limitation breeds creativity. We think that's exemplified in how now, 155 years from that first cob, Missouri Meerschaum continues to bring originality to new designs. The Mockingbird was designed in collaboration between the talented folks here at Missouri Meerschaum and TobaccoPipe's very own Jake McKenna, the artist behind Sutliff Tobacco's beloved Birds of a Feather tin art. This tall, Rob Roy style bowl tapers upward into a wide, broad, rounded rim and features a dark stain fading toward the bottom to reveal a vibrant amber-orange base that is adorned with a brown hardwood shank, nickel ferrule and a taupe Italian acrylic bit accented with wisps of pale beige that shimmer in the light.
