American Patriot Pipe Tobacco is a highly unusual type of blend to find in a pouch. This is a Latakia-based blend enhanced by quality Virginia leaf and the exotic influence of Turkish Smyrna, with just a touch of Burley for excellent burning characteristics. A light top note of Kentucky Bourbon makes for a nice addition to the aroma, but is undetectable in the flavor.

You can tell right off the light that this is a Latakia-based tobacco but I like Latakia as long as it’s not a Lat bomb. I got to admit I was a little skeptical of this tobacco but that is all gone now. This is a good smoke and I was pleasantly surprised. Will be but some more for the cellar. I have paid more for some tobaccos that I didn’t like near as much as I like American Patriot. Good tobacco. Only fault that I can find is it doesn’t come in bulk.

A pleasant smoke but a bit harsh to my tongue about half way through each bowl. To be fair, I smoke fast so it might not be an issue for those who smoke slowly.

American Patriot is the best smoking tobacco in the Missouri Meerschaum line. it is one of my favorite tobaccos to smoke period. I wish that it came in a bulk package because I would surely cellar a good bit of it away. It can easily compete against any higher-priced, big name brand. Bravo Missouri Meerschaum!

Love this stuff i shall get more definitely. It has such a comforting quality this mix and in my opinion a nice mild flavour, which to me reminds of a beech wood campfire, lovely A++ you might say.
