Zippo lighters go great with cobs because they are both “old school”. People do complain about leakage and evaporation – an age-old issue. My solution is to wrap a turn of 1/2″ teflon tape around the insert before sliding it back in. Don’t use too much or you’ll have trouble getting it apart next time. This method works for me. It’s cheap, and better than those bottom seals they sell on the internet. I love my Zippo!
