This is the affordable premium pipe that that I’ve been waiting for! Thank you, MMC!! I ordered mine the day it was released, and it arrived a few days ago. And I love everything about it — the look, the feel, the smoke. It’s essentially a natural Legend that’s been stained and varnished, and dressed up with a bronze band and acrylic stem. It has a rusticated look and feel, which I love. And the freehand etching around the rim adds a bit more unique styling and character. Everything about this pipe screams class. I hope this sticks around as a mainstay in the MMC lineup. Mine came with a bit of a gap at the bottom of the bowl, where the shank spoon didn’t quite cover the whole basin. No problem, I just filled it in with some and ash and little spit (sorry, gross). But that has hardened, and I already have a nice solid and contoured basin for the bottom of the chamber. I’ll be putting a lot of reps on this beauty. Worth every penny.
