In line with Missouri Meerschaum’s annual collaboration with American pipe tobacco company Cornell & Diehl, the Southport Ferryman offers an elevated rendition of the classic corn cob pipe and pays homage to C&D’s Carolinian roots.

Situated on the southern coast of North Carolina, Southport is an idyllic locale near the mouth of the Cape Fear River. The Southport Ferryman corn cob pipe honors this historic city and its iconic waterways with an archetypal Lovat shape, pairing a tall Billiard corn cob bowl to an elongated hardwood shank and abbreviated saddle stem. Said shank has been darkened to evoke the look of bamboo, and like all of the Missouri Meerschaum and Cornell & Diehl collaborative shapes, it features a high-quality acrylic stem, here paired to flashy nickel accent.

Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won’t in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. The chips only add to the charm and character of your corn cob pipe. Enjoy!

    I thoroughly enjoy it!
Great sibling to my Dagner Poker. This cob has a substantial bowl, and the longer shank compared to the Dagner Poker offers a cooler smoke here. It’s comfortable, lightweight and smokes sweet. Well worth the price asked. May be my new favorite cob!
