Jesse James Corn Cob Pipe

$16.99

(7 customer reviews)

The Jesse James Corn Cob Pipe was inspired by a steam engine’s smoke stack and features a wide nickel band. Comfortable in the hand, the Jesse James has its own unique label and is branded on the side of the bowl with the Outlaw Series Bandit.

Crow Valley Pipe Company and Missouri Meerschaum Company collaborated on the Outlaw Series of Corn Cob Pipes in our popular family of nose-warmer style pipes. Jesse James was an infamous outlaw who may be best remembered as a bank robber, but he was also one of the first to hold up a moving train. The Adair train robbery, for example, was significant in establishing Jesse James’ reputation as an outlaw and folk hero.

This pipe, like all the pipes in the Outlaw Series, has a genuine, hardwood insert in the bottom of the bowl and is only available as a straight, non-filtered pipe.

Due to the nature of the corn cobs themselves, you may notice some chipping on the top edge of your pipe. This is perfectly normal and won’t in any way affect the way your pipe smokes. The chips only add to the charm and character of your corn cob pipe. Enjoy!

My first pipe. Love it. Easy Summer afternoon on the porch under the oak trees relaxing after a long week. Remembering my dad and enjoying a great smoke.

    History and a great pipe!

I grew up in south Kansas City Missouri so the legend of the James Younger gang is something I grew up hearing about. Also lived a couple blocks from the Younger home in Harrisonville Mo.
Now to the pipe. If you like the Dagner MM poker you’ll love this one too. Can’t wait to round out my outlaw series with the Belle Star and Cole Younger.

a very nice pipe in deed

a very nice corn cob pipe, alovely shape and feel to it,,,,,, but i was greatly dissapointed by the stamp on the bottom of the pipe which should say jesse james but instead was just a blob of black ink,,??? so if you want to buy this pipe strictly for the printed stamp saying jesse james, i,mm afraid you will be very dissapointed indeed, but if you just want a differant shape for your collection, its a very nice pipe, but a bit costly.

    Love it

I’m a western novelist, write under the name Jack Martin so these pipes appealed to my passion for the old west. They look great and smoke really fine

    Amazing!

As a historian, as soon as I saw this Piece and of course its story, I had to get it. When I received it I was surprised by the size of the bowl. About the size of the legend just a bit bigger. It smokes great and I love the wide nickel band. It tie the pipe together. AMAZING craftsmanship all together!
