Situated in western North Carolina, in the Appalachian foothills, Salem is neighbor to Morganton, the original location of Cornell & Diehl. As a pipe shape, the Salem Woodsman is a Churchwarden-like interpretation of the iconic corn cob, pairing a tall, rounded corn cob bowl to an elongated hardwood shank and abbreviated saddle stem.
