Chris Morgan is a renowned American pipe maker, widely recognized for his innovative designs and high-quality craftsmanship. Starting his journey in 2006 after leaving his pursuit of a Marine Biology degree, Chris was drawn to the world of pipe making due to his familial connection to the craft. His great-grandfather and grandfather were both pipe smokers, and the sweet aroma of their tobacco piqued his interest. Initially self-taught, Chris honed his skills by creating his own pipes, which quickly caught the attention of both collectors and industry professionals. Over the years, he gained experience working alongside influential figures in the pipe world, growing his brand and reputation, especially with the launch of his well-known lines such as Blackjack, Bones, and The Briar Cigar®️.

 Chris’s work is characterized by a dedication to both function and beauty, as he creates pipes that perform well while maintaining an artistic flair. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to develop new lines that cater to both high-end collectors and more budget-conscious smokers. Notably, Chris was recruited to craft historically accurate pipes for the Amazon Prime series The Underground Railroad, where he worked closely with the production team to create period-correct pipes and props. Chris continues to push the boundaries of pipe making, with a focus on quality and innovation. His work and collaborations with various pipe makers including Missouri Meerschaum has garnered a loyal following. Chris also shares his passion through the podcast Beyond The Pipe, alongside fellow pipe maker Sean Reum, where they discuss the intricacies of the craft and the world of pipe-making.
