Diplomat Corn Cob Pipe
- Product Review (submitted on June 26, 2013):
- I've been smoking pipes for quite a few years, and there is nothing like a corn cob pipe. These are not costly, seem to last forever, and beats the exspensive briar pipes by a mile, plus there's really no "breaking in" period, they let you taste the tobacco rather then tasteing wood. I have regular meerschaum pipes, which are fine, but I won't take them out of my house for fear of breaking them. So, I take my Missouri Meerschaums with me. I have about 30 or so of them, some very old, some new. And should they need repair, plaster of paris for the bowl, and for the stem...well, they don't break....come loose? Sometimes, but you can either just jam it back in, or use a bit of white glue for a permenent hold. The mouth piece can be bought right here on MM's site. I always buy a few extras of all styles. In closing...don't wste money on exspensive pipes...buy some Missouri Meerschaums.
